Field testing over the course of three years has allowed us to observe many different scenarios! We have had numerous testers inform us of licks 8 ft X 4 ft X 1.5 ft deep and the deer are steadily working it over!

Personally, I have a lick 10 X 8 X 1 ft deep and have watched deer walk through fresh rainwater to drink the water collected in my lick site! Every spring I put 50 pounds of BUCK DUST around the edges and in the middle of my lick!
